Police are having problems in finding an interpreter before questioning the seven Asian nationals who were involved in a free for all brawls near Sukuna Park last night.
The Divisional Crime Officer Southern, Tevita Lesu said the 7 are in police custody and charges will be only laid once they interview them.
He confirmed the seven who are from a fishing vessel were drinking inside a nightclub when a fight broke out.
The seven then chased another group of Asians to Sukuna Park where one of the fishermen was stabbed on the hand. He sustained serious injuries and is admitted at the CWM hospital.
Some other fishermen were also assaulted and sustained serious injuries.
