Vunisea Secondary School from Kadavu is raring to take on the top schools in the Girls' Division like Suva Grammar, Adi Cakobau and Ballantine Memorial School.
Speaking to FijiVillage, Vunisea athletics team official Ilaitia Waikere is betting his last dollar, that his Intermediate Girls 4 by 400m gold medallists will make a repeat performance this time around.
Waikere added the only disadvantage the team went through during preparations was training on the 300m track at Namalata Primary School.
Meanwhile, the 4x400m Intermediate girls record stands at 4 minutes 5 seconds, set by Vunisea at last year's Coca Cola Light Games.
Vunisea has made only one change to the team that won gold last year.
The Coca Cola Light Games kicks off at 8:15am tomorrow at the National Sports Stadium.
