The Land Transport Authority Officers, Northern Division are still investigating the horrific road accident where a ten wheeler truck was involved in an accident that claimed a life and landed three in hospital yesterday.
LTA Media Officer Eroni Volavola said they officers are still investigating, because part of the ten wheeler truck carrying the digger was hanging over the cliff.
The accident occurred when the digger that was on top of the 10 wheeler truck fell and smashed onto a vehicle that was following it.
A 27yr old man died instantly when the digger fell on his company vehicle. Three other passengers have been admitted at the Labasa hospital with one confirmed as being serious.
Police have already confirmed that the digger was not properly secured.
