Some good news for the local rice industry as two Australian investors have shown interest in starting large scale rice farming in Dreketi.
Initial talks have now started between the investors and the Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau on how the local rice farmers will benefit.
FTIB Chairman Francis Narayan also confirmed the two investors are also keen in working with Rewa Rice Limited.
