The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Financial Intelligence Unit today.
Fiji Intelligence Unit director Nazim Buksh said the MOU will strengthen the networking and widen the net for investigations and prosecution for money laundering including corruption related cases.
Meanwhile, FICAC said the MOU will strengthen its commitment of eradicating all forms of corruption in Fiji and also strengthen the border control.
This is the second MOU signed between FICAC and FIU.
