The Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority has suspended another 12 of its employees for alleged fraud.
Chief Executive, Jitoko Tikolevu said the 12 from the Suva office are now subjected to internal investigations and decisions are expected to be made soon.
Tikolevu said this is part of the same investigation where two senior FIRCA employees and nine others are facing charges for allegedly defrauding FIRCA of $354,000.
According to Tikolevu, they have adopted policies to ensure that funds are not misused in the future.
