A total of 30 retailers have been fined $1000 each under the Tobacco Control Decree for selling single cigarette rolls.

Head of Tobacco Control Unit Ifereimi Corerega said most of them have paid the fine within the 21 day time frame.

Corerega said these retailers are mainly located in the Suva, Valelevu, Nausori and Lami areas.

He stressed retailers need to be responsible and comply with the decree.
