Excessive noise and family disputes were the main liquor related offences recorded in the last four days.

Director Police Operations, SSP Rusiate Tudravu said the overall weekend was relatively quiet despite an increase in liquor related offences.

Tudravu said they are now gearing up for the New Year and is warning people not to drive under the influence of liquor.

With four days remaining for the year to end, the road death toll stands at 50 with the latest fatality being on Christmas Day.
