Australia held off a spirited Wales fight back to overcome the sluggish Six Nations champions 27-19 in Brisbane.
Tries from Scott Higginbotham, Will Genia and Pat McCabe was enough to give Wallabies the win.
Meanwhile, All Blacks Captain Richie McCaw was not completely satisfied with his team’s 42-10 win over Ireland.
In the other test matches, South Africa defeated England 22-17 and Argentina defeated Italy 37-22.
