Jittu Estate residents can expect Phase Two of the Lagilagi Housing Project to be completed by October.

People’s Community Network Chairman Father Kevin Barr says the construction of seventy six units is now underway.

Father Barr says this was made possible with Government’s financial assistance of more than $2 million.

He says they are expected to receive more funding when they submit their acquittal to the Local Government, Housing and Environment Ministry.

He also says this new phase includes 76 units, a community hall and a kindergarten.

Father Barr adds that they are currently looking for an interested investor to fund the community hall and the kindergarten.

Phase Two is expected to cost around $9 million.

Residents who have an account with PCN are required to save $40 a week for the two bedroom unit and $50 a week if they want a three bedroom unit.
