Fifty lucky children had their wishes granted today as they received $3,000 worth of gift packages from Vodafone Fiji through their “Christmas make a wish” promotion.
One of the winners, Vaseva Laqekoro who is a form four student of Suva Muslim College told Fijivillage that she had wished for a Galaxy Tablet and she was very excited to receive the gift.
Laqekoro says she will share her gift with friends.
Meanwhile, eight year old Afiza Kumar who also got a Galaxy Tablet says she will use her Tablet to make calls and download her favorite movies.
Forty children got a package each of a Samsung 9.7 inch Tablet, $50 worth of internet every month for a year, $200 worth of Jacks voucher, $200 worth of Tappoo’s voucher and $500 worth of Courts Fiji Limited voucher.
While ten children who gave their wishes to Vodafone received the item they had wished for along with similar vouchers and packages.
Meanwhile, Fiji 7's player Jerry Tuwai handed out the packages to the children this morning.
