Last year alone US consumers bought over US$200 million in Fijian Goods and Service and the United states in turn export US$55 million worth of goods to Fiji.
This was revealed by the United States Ambassador to Fiji Judith Cefkin while officiating the unveiling of the new Fiji/US Business Council’s new logo at Tanoa Plaza in Suva.
She says the connection between the two nations continues to grow as Fiji’s economy continues to expand with 3.8% growth forecasted this year.
She adds that she is very excited about what the future holds for US-Fiji trade and investment relation and that one of the top priority of the US Embassy is to promote increase trade and investment between the United States and Fiji.
