A man who is charged with a count each of theft and causing a loss has pleaded guilty to both the charges.

Mohammed Imran on the 24th of November last year while being employed by R.C Manubhai and Co Ltd as a driver stole 540 pieces of steel worth $3,969.

Imran caused the R.C Manubhai and Co Ltd a loss of $3,969.

The DPP lawyer has sought for 21 days to file mitigation in the case.

The case has been adjourned to the 19th of next month.
