Bail has been granted for a 31-year-old man charged with one count of being in possession of illicit drugs.

It is alleged that Jaykrish Singh, without lawful authority had in his possession 2 grams of methamphetamine on the 7th of this month.

Magistrate Charles Ratakele has granted Singh a cash bail of $1000 with two sureties who have signed a $400 surety bond each.

A curfew has been imposed for Singh from 12am to 4am.

The case has been adjourned to 23rd April for plea.
