The Republic of Fiji Military Forces Third Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment will be conducting two live firing exercises in the Nausori Highlands, within and around the vicinity of Bukuya junction.
Army Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto says the first will be a live mortar round firing conducted by the Mortar Platoon from 10am to 3pm this Friday.
The second will be the full battalion live firing from 7am on Monday 5th February and will end at 5pm Tuesday 6th February.
Members of the public residing within and around the vicinity of the Nausori and Navosa highlands are advised and cautioned to refrain from travelling nearby.
