Water Authority of Fiji says there are 100 water trucks deployed around Nadi and Lautoka to cart drinking water to major services and to the members of the public who are affected by the Nagado Water Shut down.
Water Authority Board Director Kamal Gounder is also requesting motorists travelling along roads in the greater Nadi and Lautoka area to give way to the water carting trucks during the disruption period which is from today till Tuesday.
Water Authority of Fiji has been supplying water since 4pm yesterday to affected areas in Lautoka and Nadi.
They have placed water tanks at 110 locations in Nadi and 122 locations in Lautoka
Members of the public can contact toll‑free number 1507 to report rude driver behaviour during the disruption period.
