The Vodafone Fiji Bati players have threatened to boycott future rugby league tests after claiming they have yet to be paid for making last year's Rugby League World Cup semifinal.
In a statement released by the players’ representative today, it also demands a leadership overhaul of the current Fiji National Rugby League board.
While responding to this statement, FNRL CEO Timoci Naleba clarifies that this could involve the slow process of payments that was supposed to be done by the National Rugby League of Australia.
Naleba adds that the FNRL did not receive any single cent from NRL and the Rugby League World Cup for players’ payments.
