National 7s coach Gareth Baber says he clearly understands the expectation of the Fijian public whenever the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team run onto the field.

Baber says he is someone who lives and breathes rugby as well.

The Fiji 7s team especially Coach Gareth Baber were faced with heavy criticism following the team’s low performance at the Sydney 7s.

Baber says the most important things is that we all continue to support the players.

Fiji will play Russia in their first pool match of the Las Vegas 7s at 12.06pm next Saturday and we take on France at 3.07pm next Saturday. Fiji then play their final pool match against Kenya at 8.36am Sunday.

The Cup quarters start at 1.26pm next Sunday, the Cup semis will be held at 9.12am on Monday 5th March while the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm Monday.

South Africa is the defending champion of the Las Vegas 7s.
