The 23-year-old man that was charged for dangerous driving occasioning death has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.

It is alleged that Shiuwal Shavnil Chand caused the death of a 77-year-old woman at Marine Drive, Lami last Saturday.

Chand’s bail conditions are that he is not to re-offend, he is not to interfere with the prosecution witnesses and he is to report to the Valelevu Police Station.

The case has been adjourned to 9th April.
