“We are going as strong as we can, and we want to win.”
All Blacks Sevens Coach, Clark Laidlaw has made this comment after naming the squad for the Las Vegas and Vancouver 7's.
Laidlaw says the goal is to win.
He says the Commonwealth Games is just around the corner but they are not resting players for that.
Dylan Collier, Trael Joass and Andrew Knewstubb have all returned from injury.
Players like Teddy Stanaway, Luke Masirewa and Kurt Baker have been dropped and Laidlaw says this shows the strength and depth they are building.
The New Zealand 7's team includes players like Dylan Collier
Scott Curry, Sam Dickson, Trael Joass, Andrew Knewstubb, Vilimoni Koroi, Ngarohi McGarvey Black, Tim Mikkelson, Sione Molia, Etene Nanai‑Seturo, Joe Ravouvou, Regan Ware and Joe Webber.
21‑year‑old Ngarohi McGarvey Black was brought into the All Blacks Sevens squad after a strong showing at the Bayleys National Sevens in January and Laidlaw said he has continued to impress.
