Residents of Clopcott Settlement in Ba will be getting their 99 year leases in May this year.
This has been confirmed by Acting Minister for Housing and Local Government Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum in parliament.
Sayed-Khaiyum was responding to NFP parliamentarian Parmod Chand who asked if the residents of Clopcott Settlement in Ba have been issued with 99-year leases after assurances were given the Minister for Housing Parveen Bala in parliament last year.
Residents in Clopcott Settlement in Ba were issued the agreement to lease by government in December 2014.
