Scott Robertson lifted his eyes to the heavens as he gave thanks for the news that Ryan Crotty didn't suffer a concussion during the Crusaders' 33‑14 bonus point victory over the Bulls last night.
The sight of second five‑eighth Crotty leaving AMI Stadium in Christchurch in the final minutes of the game last night immediately created concerns, but Crusaders coach Robertson was happy to declare his vice‑captain should be fit for the upcoming tour to South Africa and Argentina.
He also declared captain Sam Whitelock was okay after he got the wind knocked out of him late in the game and was replaced.
They have games against the Lions and the Jaguares before the bye.
Robertson admitted the match against the Bulls was an untidy affair as both teams struggled to get things right.
Meanwhile, the Rebels defeated the Sharks 46-14 last night.
In today’s matches, the Chiefs will face the Sunwolves at 4.15pm while the Hurricanes will take on the Highlanders at 6.35pm tonight.
