Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach Gareth Baber will make an assessment on all the players today and decide on his 13 players for the Commonwealth Games 7s competition in Gold Coast this weekend.
The team is on its way to Australia from Hong Kong.
The 13 players earlier announced for the Commonwealth 7s were Semi Kunatani, Jasa Veremalua, Josua Vakurinabili, Paula Dranisinukula, Kalione Nasoko, Jerry Tuwai, Vatemo Ravouvou, Amenoni Nasilasila, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Mesulame Kunavula, Eroni Sau, Alasio Naduva and Samisoni Viriviri.
Baber highlighted that there could be changes to the Commonwealth Team if there are injuries.
Fiji will play Sri Lanka at 1.21pm Saturday in their first game, they will then meet Uganda at 7.53pm on Saturday in their second pool match before facing Wales at 11.33pm in their last pool game.
There will be no quarterfinals as the top four teams will go straight to the semi finals at 1.43pm Sunday and the Commonwealth 7s final will kick off at 5.04pm Sunday.
