Police foiled a robbery heist at a restaurant following the arrest of five men believed to have been planning the crime.
Police say members of the Southern Division task force intercepted a vehicle in the Valelevu, Nasinu and questioned the two men who were acting in a suspicious manner and found them allegedly in possession of house breaking tools.
They were taken in for questioning where they revealed their alleged plan of breaking into a popular restaurant early Thursday morning.
Police say the men also revealed the alleged involvement of 3 other men and officers arrested the remaining suspects.
All five continue to be questioned as investigations continue.
