Australia full‑back Israel Folau has been offered a AUSD$1.4 million contract to join Sale Sharks in the English Premiership this is after his 2018 contract in Australia will come to an end this season.
Former All Black skills coach, Mick Byrne told Fox Rugby it would be a significant loss for Australian Rugby if Folau accepts the offer.
Meanwhile, the Waratahs will be having a bye this week and hoping that Folau will be fit to take on the Blues next week.
Looking at the Super Rugby matches this week, the Hurricanes will meet the Sunwolves at 7.35pm this Friday.
On Saturday, the Stormers will host the Rebels at 5.10am, the Reds will take on the Lions at 5.05pm, the Blues will meet the Jaguares at 7.35pm while the Brumbies will face the Crusaders at 9.45pm.
On Sunday, the Bulls will play the Highlanders at 3.15am.
