ANZ Bank has announced a $20,000 donation to help Fijians in Kadavu rebuild their lives after Cyclone Keni destroyed homes on the island.
The donation is a combined effort from the ANZ Staff Foundation and ANZ.
The ANZ Staff Foundation is a Charitable Trust funded by staff donations.
In a statement, ANZ Fiji Country Head Saud Minam says they plan to mobilise ANZ volunteers to provide on-the-ground assistance in Kadavu.
He says their immediate focus is on supporting families through starter kits that include first aid supplies, cleaning products and basic food items.
Minan says they are on standby to provide other materials to schools and homes.
