Police are still looking for two suspects allegedly involved in an aggravated robbery case early Thursday morning where they injured a Police officer and damaged a police vehicle.
Three men are already in Police custody for their alleged involvement in the case.
Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu says that the alleged incident occurred at a grog shop in Nakasi whereby five men armed with knives and timber forcefully entered the shop and stole cash, cigarettes and a mobile phone belonging to a salesman.
Tudravu says that a team of officers that were conducting night operations arrived at the scene and were confronted by the group who allegedly attacked them by smashing the window of the vehicle before fleeing the scene.
An officer sustained injuries as a result of the attack.
The three men are in custody at the Nakasi Police Station.
