The sugar cane sector in the Northern Division suffered $2.4 million worth of damages during Cyclones Keni and Josie.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama was briefed by officials in the Northern Division that the sugar cane sector suffered the most damage.

The Agriculture sector suffered $1.9 million worth of damages, Fiji Roads Authority incurred damages worth $1.5 million while the Education sector suffered damages worth $14,620.

The total cost of damages incurred amounted close to $6 million.

The Prime Minister began his tour of the Northern Division yesterday.
