High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo has told the defence lawyer in the murder trial of Timoci Lolohea, not to waste the High Court's time by not coming prepared to the trial.
This is after defence lawyer, Lisiate Qetaki asked Justice Temo if the trial could be adjourned to next week as their witness is in New Zealand.
Justice Temo then said that the High Court will not allow this as the High Court system is not like the Magistrates Court.

He says that the ‘vakamalua’ system should not be practiced and there should be a Skype system set up today in court for the witness in New Zealand.
Justice Temo says that assessors, lawyers, court clerks and even he is paid and wasting time in trial adjournments wil not be tolerated.
While referring to this matter, Justice Temo told the defence lawyer that he should come prepared like the Fiji 7s team as they are always trained and prepared for the game.
Timoci Lolohea is charged with a count of murder and it is alleged that he killed his defacto partner by stabbing her with two knives.
The alleged incident took place on the 20th of March last year at Nasilivata Street in Nadera.
