Top Brazilian soccer team defender Dani Alves, will miss the FIFA World Cup after he injured his knee in a match for Paris Saint Germain.

Alves who played for Brazil in the past two World Cups says despite the injury he is happy.

Brazil has won the FIFA World Cup 5 times.

Brazil will begin their 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign against Switzerland at 6am on the 18th of next month.

Meanwhile, in the first match of this year’s FIFA World Cup , Russia will play Saudi Arabia at 3am on the 15th of next month.
