Eleven traffic signal sites will be upgraded by the Fiji Roads Authority in the coming months under the Traffic Signal Maintenance Program.
This includes the traffic signals at Lakeba Street, Samabula FNU, Grantham Road, Cunningham Road, Centre Point and Laqere intersection.
Fiji Roads Authority says the upgrading of the traffic signal lanterns on Mark/Thompson Street has been completed while works on the Nabua traffic signals are in progress.
The FRA has also begun the installation of mid‑block pedestrian crossing traffic signals on Rodwell Road and Stinson Parade Bridge.
All works at Rodwell road and Stinson Bridge is anticipated to be completed over the next four weeks.
