Police are awaiting the post mortem results of the 34-year-old woman who was allegedly murdered by her husband at their home in Taveuni.
The post mortem was conducted earlier today.
Police say the man is alleged to have stabbed his wife at their home in Taveuni.
The victim was rushed to the Taveuni Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The incident occurred last Sunday.
