Fiji Bati and Paramatta Eels’s Centre, Jarryd Hayne scored a try for the his side but it wasn’t enough as the Dragons snatched a late 20-18 win last night.

George Illawarra Dragons coach Paul McGregor admitted that his players had been outperformed by the last placed Eels but halves Gareth Widdop and Ben Hunt had managed to steer them to victory in the dying minutes.

In NRL matches tonight, the Warriors will take on the Sharks at 8pm while the Roosters will face the Storm at 9.55pm.
