With 8 days left to the Rugby World Cup 7s, selecting the best and outstanding players continue to be a tough task for Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Gareth Baber.
Baber says that selecting the final 12 will be based on the players’ current form and not on reputation.
The squad will remain at the Utah training base until the end of the week, before flying to San Francisco on Sunday.
Fiji will play their first game against the winner between Japan and Uruguay at 3.53pm next Saturday.
Barring any upsets, they will either meet Argentina or Canada in the Cup quarterfinals at 10.54am next Sunday, they will either meet Australia or New Zealand in the cup semifinals at 8.02am Monday the 23rd of this month and will either meet South Africa, England or USA in the final at 12.49pm Monday the 23rd of this month.
