The Crusaders will be aiming to finish the league phase of the competition on a high when they host the Blues in Christchurch tonight.

The defending champions have, once again, been the pace‑setters in the tournament and head into this match in a rich vein of form as they are currently on an 11‑match winning streak.

The Crusaders have topped the Super Rugby standings with 58 points and they will host their quarter‑final, semi‑final, final if they continue to win in the knock‑out stages.

Meanwhile, the Brumbies will need to throw the kitchen sink at the Waratahs in their final regular‑season match of the campaign in Sydney tonight.

Requiring a bonus‑point win and hoping that the Rebels and Sharks struggle in their respective games against the Highlanders and Jaguares, it’s a big ask to see the outfit from Canberra sneaking into the knockout stages.

It is also going to take some effort from the Brumbies to halt this Waratahs side, who are in form and looking to wrap up a home semi‑final place.

Waratahs will host their quarter‑final as Australian Conference winners while the winner of the South African conference is still up for grabs between the Jaguares and Lions.

The Lions are currently leading their conference with 41 points while the Jaguares are second with 38 points.

If the Jaguares beat the Sharks and the Lions lose to the Bulls , the Jaguares will win the South African conference.

Tonight the Highlanders will face the Rebels at 5.15pm, the Crusaders will play the Blues at 7.35pm, the Waratahs will meet the Brumbies at 9.45pm, tomorrow the Lions will face the Bulls at 1.05am and the Sharks will take on the Jaguares at 3.15am.

In matches last night the Hurricanes will host their quarterfinal next week against the Chiefs are defeating them 28-24 while the Reds beat the Sunwolves 48-27.
