The Suva Soccer Coach Gurjit Singh says the semifinal match against Labasa will be a tough one as they have a very strong defense and some very experienced players.
Speaking to Fijivillage about the team’s preparation for the BOG semifinal, he says Suva has scored a total of 8 goals in the tournament so far and had shown a lot of improvement after losing to defending champions Rewa in their first pool match.
Singh says they are looking at ways to tackle players such as Taniela Waqa and Christopher Wasasala.
Singh adds that Suva should come out in numbers and support the team as even in Viti Levu Labasa still has a lot of support.
Suva will play Labasa in the first semifinal at 2pm while the second semifinal between Ba and Nadi will start at 4pm Saturday at Churchill Park.
The final will be played at 3pm Sunday at Churchill Park.
