A 29-year-old man charged with one count of indecent assault has been granted bail by Magistrate Joji Boseiwaqa.
Nii Gataurua is alleged to have unlawfully and indecently assaulted a 27-year-old woman in Suva last Friday.
He allegedly touched the woman’s private parts without her consent.
A family friend and the mother of the accused were the two sureties present in court however Magistrate Boseiwaqa has asked that a male surety who is employed and is older than the accused be brought to court.
The case has been adjourned to the 24th of next month.
