Saint John’s College will take on Saint Joseph’s Secondary School in the U16 final of the Tuckers Secondary Schools Hockey Tournament later this afternoon.
Saint John’s College defeated Levuka Public School by stroke penalties 4-1 while Saint Joseph’s Secondary School defeated Sangam Sadhu Kuppuswamy Memorial College from Nadi 2-0.
In the U16 boys semifinal, Marist defeated Tilak High School 2-1 through penalty stroke to book a spot in the final while Saint John’s College beat Levuka Public School 2-0 in the second semifinal.
Marist will now take on Saint John’s College in the U16 boys final.
Sangam Sadhu Kuppuswamy Memorial College will face U19 girls defending champions Saint Jospeh’s Secondary School in the final.
Meanwhile the U19 boys semifinals are currently underway.
Defending boys champions, Natabua High School are facing Tilak High School and Suva Grammar School are currently playing rivals Marist Brothers High School in the second semifinal.
