Fiji U16 Rugby team Manager Jiutasa Moceisui says that the first priority for the team is their studies.
Moceisui stated that during their last 4 weeks of training, members of the team from schools in Tailevu and the Western Division had been attending Nasinu Secondary School.
The manager adds that after training each day during their training camp, the team is allocated an hour for their studies.
Moceisui says that this keeps the players school work updated.
The National U16 side have also been working closely with the Fiji Rugby Union in the development of the players.
This is the second year that Fiji is participating in the Junior Rugby Championship having reached the playoffs last year.
8 teams will be participating in the 2018 Junior Rugby Championships which will be held Australia.
Fiji’s first game will be against the New South Wales U16 this Sunday.
