A heavy rain warning remains in force for the interior and Eastern parts of Viti Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti Group.
The interior and Eastern parts of Viti Levu include, Korovou, Nausori, Rewa, Naitasiri, Suva through to Navua.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain lies slow moving over the South Western parts of Fiji.
Another trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain is moving towards the Fiji Group from the North.
It adds that will continue to experience rain for the next few days and also into the beginning of next week.
People can also expect heavy rain at times and a few thunderstorms.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
