Cristiano Ronaldo’s Lawyer Peter Christiansen says the rape allegations against the 33-year-old footballer is a defamation campaign based on stolen and easily manipulated digital documents.
The 33-year-old Portugese has denied the allegation of raping a woman in a hotel in Las vegas in 2009.
Ronaldo’s lawyer says whatever had happened in Las Vegas that night was consensual.
He made this comment after reports of Ronaldo and the alleged rape victim making an agreement of her not to come out again with these allegations after it had initially surfaced.
Reports say that according to the agreement, Ronaldo made a settlement of $375,000.
