The National Federation Party has handed in the names of their 51 Provisional Candidates to the Fijian Elections Office.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says that the nominations that NFP has given complies with the requirements of the Electoral Act.
Saneem also stated that SODELPA has also re‑submitted the names of their provisional candidates and have abided by the requirements under the law.
He adds that SODELPA has produced a bank cheque and they have started processing the nominations to verify them under the Electoral Act.
The Supervisor of Elections says that so far they have received 3 party nominations and they are waiting for the other parties to submit their nominations.
FijiFirst submitted their nominations on Monday.
Nominations close on the 15th of this month.
NFP’s 51 proposed candidates include:
