The Fiji Drua came from behind to defeat the Western Force 33‑28 to clinch historic minor premiership last night.

Meanwhile, with the Western Force on 23 points after failing to pick up a point against the Drua in Perth, the win by the Drua saw Queensland Country finish the regular season in second place on 24 points.

This means that the Western Force who are now in third place will take on the Queensland Country in their semifinal match.

The Fiji Drua have now won the Horan Little Shield and the Minor Premiership of the NRC and have secured a home semifinal.
