The 38‑year‑old man who is alleged to have raped a 3‑year‑old girl at a Day Care Center in Suva will take his plea on the 27th of this month.
He appeared before High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe today.
The man was a handyman at the Day Care Center when he committed the alleged offense.
The alleged incident occurred on the 31st of August this year.
The matter was reported by the girl’s mother after she found out about the alleged incident.
The case has been adjourned to the 3rd of next month.
