Wallabies great Matt Burke has launched an attack on Rugby Australia executives and called for Australian coach Michael Cheika and his assistants to be sacked.
Following Rugby Australia's board meeting on Monday, high profile Rugby Australia’s figures were remaining tight‑lipped as to what changes might be made to the Wallabies' coaching staff after a poor international season.
Chairman Cameron Clyne's promise that an update would be provided by Christmas has not been well‑received by rugby pundits, including Burke, the 81‑test fullback.
Burke says that Rugby Australia needs to make a call.
Meanwhile, Australia is in pool D for the 2019 World Cup with Fiji, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay.
The 2019 Rugby World Cup will be held in Japan from 20 September to 2 November 2019.
