The Rugby Academy of Fiji Under 18 team lost 41-5 to the Samoan Barbarians in the plate final of the World School Sevens Rugby tournament earlier this afternoon.

Fiji won their plate semifinal 26-5 against Niue and overall had a poor performance in their pool matches losing to New Zealand Condors, Samoan Barbarians and finally pulled a 24-0 win in their last pool match against Cook Islands.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand Condors have been crowned champion of the World School Sevens Rugby tournament after a 22-12 win over New Zealand Fijians in the final.
