A relative of the man whose body was found floating in a pool in Cunningham on Sunday has come forward to positively identify the victim.
Police have confirmed that the victim's brother positively identified the victim as his elder brother who had gone missing from their home in Pacific Harbour earlier this month.
The post mortem of the 40-year-old victim will be conducted soon.
Police say that at around 1pm Sunday a student residing in Cunningham was swimming with friends when they noticed a body floating down stream.
As they swam closer they discovered the decomposed body of a man and alerted Police.
