Access has been cut off on the Savusavu Highway as there is a major landslide along the Trans-insular Road which is close to Bagaraki in Urata.
Both lanes have been blocked due to this landslide.
According to the Fiji Roads Authority the slip side has a power pole with live wire.
FRA says that Energy Fiji Limited has been notified to shut off the power before they can begin clearing the road.
The Authority says teams are on the ground and are awaiting clearance from Energy Fiji Limited.
Landslide at Bagaraki along Transinsular Rd in Savusavu has blocked the whole road making it inaccessible at this point in time.

The slip side has EFL Power Pole (with live wire). EFL has been notified to shut down the power before we can start clearing the road.
