Two police checkpoints have caused major traffic in Nasinu.

People have called us saying the checkpoints have been erected at Laqere that has caused a huge traffic jam from both ends.

Police Director of Operations, SSP Abdul Khan says this is part of normal Police operations.

Police say that the checkpoints remain and cannot confirm a time the checkpoints will be cleared.
