Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison says that he is looking forward to seeing his friends, Fiji’s Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and Vanuatu’s Prime Minister Charlot Salwai again this week to show the depth of Australia’s commitment to the Pacific family.

Morrison wrote on Twitter that the historic visits to Fiji and Vanuatu, will take relationships to a new level.

He is scheduled to be in Vanuatu today and arrives into Fiji tomorrow and will stay till Friday.

This is the first time that an Australian Prime Minister is making a bilateral visit to Fiji.

He is scheduled to meet with Bainimarama in Suva tomorrow.

He will also pay a courtesy call to President Jioji Konrote.

While in Fiji, Morrison plans to deliver a speech at the University of the South Pacific and conduct site visits to APTC, Fiji National University campus and the Blackrock project in Nadi.
